Key Factors Influencing Graduation on Time Among Postgraduate Students: A PLS-SEM Approach

Abstract: The information age witnessed the democratisation of education with an exponential growth in enrolment postgraduate students almost all universities around world. However, high attrition and low completion rates among have been immense threat to key performance university system. main purpose this study was investigate influence institutional support, supervisory practices, students’ self-management research skills on motivation graduate time (GOT). data were collected from 191 three Malaysia using a survey questionnaire. quantitative analysed PLS-SEM approach. results revealed that skills, support significantly influenced GOT. Furthermore, identified as strongest predictor Additionally, mediated relationships between practices toward GOT not supported either by direct or indirect effect. has far reaching implications for students, supervisors, institutions higher learning.
